Confidence

(I got these slippers for christmas but I can't get Adam to take them off.)
What exactly is confidence and how do I get some more of it? I was thinking about a line from one of my favorite movies, Joe vs the Volcano. Joe asks Patricia if she believes in God and she answers that she believes in herself, that she has CONFIDENCE in herself. I once wondered, "How does that even relate?" But for one reason or another I find myself truly pondering this statement today and seeing how it COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY RELATES to believing in God. You HAVE to believe in yourself in order to truly believe in God. So, the question remains, do I believe in myself? Do I have confidence in myself? I would like to think my answer is a resounding yes. At least somedays it is. Somedays I would rather hide under the blanket and never get out of bed though......
What about you?
